How to Lose weight by Scott Schmidt

Dedication, hard work, ensuring an appropriate self-view, defining food to employ proper eating habits, and correctly executing exercises are the fundamental steps to losing weight effectively. As a result, I have lost over fifty pounds by embracing this process. First begin by dedicating to yourself, “no matter what happens quitting is not an option until the goal is met”. Miriam Webster online at www.dictionary.com defines dedication as, “a devoting or setting aside for a particular purpose”. So what does one dedicate? Simply put, lay aside a set amountof time and money for this specific purpose as it is not only crucial but the most important step. Next, hard work is the second step so without interference from a spouse, friend, child, or co-worker research the cheapest, closest, most comfortable gym and purchases a membership. Above all, take the time set aside in step one and spread it over three or four days within the week, go purchase one of following books, for men I recommend getting, “The Men’s Health Hard-Body Plan” by Larry Keller and for Women I recommend “The Body Sculpting for Women Second Edition, and The Way to Physical Perfection”. Perhaps, getting a gym membership, showing up on time, and following a plan is difficult but this is precisely why the second most difficult step is hard work. As soon as the prior things are accomplished the third step to losing weight involves ensuring that an appropriate self view is established. No doubt there are millions of books when it comes to defining identity and I could spend millions of pages discussing them, however it comes down to one definition. Quoting Kathy Koch “You are a unique one of a kind unrepeatable miracle” that said, follow the definition with my statement designed to ____________ and an appropriate self view is established. Losing weight is not about losing weight subsequently take the time to fill in the blank and the answer will get to the heart of it all. For this reason, whether it is to be a great father, an awesome wife, a caring nurse, the purpose to lose weight is defined by the passion of an established appropriate self view. Second to last, what is food? Simple, by definition of Miriam Webster at www.dictionary.com it is “material, usually of plant or animal origin that contains or consists of essential body nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals, and is ingested and assimilated by an organism to produce energy, stimulate growth, and maintain life”. Perhaps, food is our fuel to fulfill our passion. Most importantly, this step includes research and implementation of a well balanced diet. Therefore, www.fitday.com is the perfect resource to follow a preset balanced eating program specific to your age, weight, and activity level. Finally, correctly executed exercises are the final step to ensure the weight will come off. Surely, do the right things take the time to learn about technique, and do not over extend your joints. Think, joints are finished growing and the object is to burn fat and build muscle so do each exercise slowly, and stay within the muscle. Any personal trainer will display this for free but be careful they will also try to sell a two hundred and fifty dollar a month motivational plan. To sum it all up, losing weight is a personal battle that will test anyone’s humanity in almost every aspect. It is not an easy process and there are thousands of ways to do this one process, however this way has proved to be both healthy and successful as I am living proof of this process. Take Care because you’re worth it!
